TERMS OF SALE

    1. The objects offered for sale in Mark Bassett’s Art Pottery Shop are described to the best of his knowledge. The term “excellent condition” means that a piece is in the original condition, just as when it left the maker’s hands…. free from nicks, chips, hairlines, or restoration. Unless they are bothersome or noticeable, minor “blips” of production and use will not be noted. These might include unexpected drippiness, not fully round dots, short minor scratches, or a partly ground foot.
    2. The photographs are intended to help you decide whether you would like to make a purchase. Please feel free to request larger format photos if the photos posted here do not help you sufficiently.
    3. Maker ID’s are guaranteed to be accurate as described. Please watch for the phrase “attributed to,” which means that the maker has not been proven to Mark Bassett’s satisfaction, but he has an educated guess, based on more than 30 years of researching, buying, and selling collectible ceramics and other artwork.
    4. If you are unsatisfied with a purchase for any reason, please contact Mark Bassett immediately (within 3 days of receipt). He wants you to be happy with all purchases.
    5. Payment can be made by personal check, money order, or Paypal. If you prefer to pay by check or M/O, please make arrangements by email.
    6. Unless otherwise specified, the FREE SHIPPING offer is good within the continental United States ONLY. Whenever possible, shipping will be made by USPS Priority Mail.
    7. Ohio residents must pay sales tax. If you use the standard Paypal checkout system, the rate will be 8%. However, you can request a more accurate (less expensive) total invoice if your shipping address is located in a zip code with a lower sales tax rate. Just send an email to make such a request, and instead of using the shopping cart, Mark Bassett will email you a corrected invoice and mark the item “SALE PENDING” until you have made your payment.
    8. Thank you for your passion for ceramics and art! It’s always wonderful to make new friends who have similar values.
